Quick & Healthy 5-Minute Meal Ideas for Busy Lifestyles

With busy schedules, it can be challenging to find the time to plan and prepare meals ahead of time. Unfortunately, we all know what happens when we don’t have something ready—poor planning often leads to poor choices!
To help you stay on track, I’ve got three quick and easy meals to share with you. These options are perfect for when you’re short on time and won’t break your budget.
Meal Prep Tip for Busy Days
Always keep chopped, pre-washed veggies and fruits handy. This small habit makes it easier to meet your daily #vegetagoals! 🍉
3 Quick and Easy Meals Ready in 5 Minutes or Less
1. Avocado Toast and Eggs
Toast the bread and mash the avocado onto it.
Place egg and place it on top of the avocado.
Season to taste and enjoy a balanced, delicious meal.
2. DIY Lunchable
→ Choose a protein: leftover cooked meat, tuna, smoked salmon, edamame, hard boiled eggs, roasted chickpeas, greek yogurt, hummus
→ Choose a carb: crackers, pita bread, popcorn, rice, potatoes, noodles, mini rice cakes, quinoa *Aim for whole grains with at least 3g fiber/serving
→ Choose a vegetable: cucumber, carrots, mixed green salad, leftover cooked vegetables, radishes, snap peas
→ Choose a fruit: berries, apple slices, mangos, dates, melon, grapes, oranges
→ Choose a fat: olives, *nut butter, avocado/guacamole, *nuts, *seeds, *cheese, salad dressing *Certain fats contain some protein
3. Dani’s Chicken Wraps
Ingredients – 1 Whole Grain Flax Tortilla (Sam’s Club Santa Fe Tortilla Company) – 1/2 large, ripe avocado, mashed or 1 Guac Mini Cup – 4 oz skinless rotisserie chicken breast or grilled chicken
– 2 Tbsp BBQ sauce or Favorite Condiment*
*Bolthouse Greek Yogurt Ranch or Caesar Dressing, Hot Sauce, Pineapple Salsa, etc.
Time-Saving: Each of these meals takes less than 5 minutes to prepare.
Budget-Friendly: The ingredients are affordable and easily accessible.
Nutritious: These options are packed with protein, fiber, and essential vitamins to fuel your busy day.
